The following is general information to answer questions you may have about your best Sailing Vacation ever. If we do not address your concerns here please contact us directly with your questions. You can never ask too many questions!

Q: Is there an age limit?

A: There is no age limit, if you are able to climb a few steps and are stable standing, you are welcome aboard.

Q: Can we bring our children?

A: Of course, it is preferred that the children are able to swim, but if they wear a life vest (PFD) while on board as we sail, and you claim full responsibility for their actions and well being, they are welcome aboard.

Q: We have never sailed before.

A: We all begin somewhere, your Captain’s are fully capable of handling the vessel, you can just sit back and enjoy the ride or feel free to learn the basics.

Q: How much sailing experience do I need? Can I learn to sail on my trip?

A: No experience is necessary, we can teach you the basics if you’d like or we will control the vessel and you can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Q: What about seasickness?

A: We spend little time on open water, much of our sailing will be Island hopping (depending on location), we do recommend bringing seasickness medications if you like. Different forms of Ginger (lozenges, candy, soda), helps most people. A very experienced Captain friend of ours wears a patch every time he sails.

Q: Travelers Checks, ATM’s and Banks… what should I bring?

A: Most places take credit cards, with the exception of the outer Islands of the Bahamas, we suggest a variety of payment options. Cash, travelers checks and plastic. Larger cities will have banking options, be sure to watch out for hidden charges.

Q: What other costs should I expect?

A: Our overnight trips do include the cost of meals on board, and boating fees such as moorings. Out of pocket expenses could include on-shore meals and purchases, transportation to and from the boat, pick-up/drop off to airports or hotel stays, customs fees, airfare, captain and crew gratuities.
